Across the state SES volunteers spend more than 260,000 hours every year helping their local communities in times of need.
To recognise their massive efforts – residents across the region are being urged to ‘go orange’ for Wear Orange Wednesday.
The national day of recognition honours the 40,000 people who volunteer their time state-wide.
A special event will be held outside Tamworth City Council tomorrow in honour of local members.
