A man and woman will face Tamworth Local Court, after police allegedly seized three loaded firearms, more than half a kilogram of a substance believed to be ‘Ice’ and stolen goods from a property near Tamworth.
At around 11 o’clock yesterday morning, police from the Oxley Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a property on Glenara Lane, Bithramere.
A 35-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were arrested at the property and taken to Tamworth Police Station.
The man is facing numerous drug and firearm charges, while the woman has been charged with possessing an unregistered and unauthorised firearm.
She was granted conditional bail to appear at Tamworth Local Court on 28 September 2015.
