The state government is looking at ways to make accessing drought support easier for farmers, particularly when it comes to the paperwork.
It’s considering a “Tell the Government Once” scheme, where primary producers can put their details into an online account and avoid providing the same information again and again.
Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson met with Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Deputy PM John Barilaro this week, to discuss ways to improve the system.
