Moree Plains Shire Council is working with past members of the local chamber of commerce to re-establish the organisation.
Council is hosting a public meeting on May 27 to form a new board executive and plan for the next 12 months.
“The chamber has folded in Moree recently, it’s a bit of a concern with council, with the partnership of a few local businesses we’re looking to resurrect it and get an active and vibrant chamber going again.”
The meeting will also include guest speakers from the New South Wales business chamber and New South Wales Trade and Investment.
