A young woman is dead, following a car crash at Killawarra, west of Wingham.
Just before 6pm yesterday, emergency services responded to reports of a collision between two cars on Gloucester Road.
The 19-year-old driver of a Holden Astra was taken to Manning Base Hospital, but later passed away.
The driver of the other car, an 18-year-old woman, was taken to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital with several fractures and abdominal injures.
She remains in a serious, but stable condition.
Police investigators are yet to determine the cause of the crash.
