With seconds to go the Wanderers put an end to the Seahorses season knocking them out of the finals on Saturday at Sportsground No. 2.

A strong second half had the Students take the lead with tries to Dane Sherratt and Joseph Kingham.

But a last minute try was a dream crusher with Wanderers Quermy Warmerdam barging his way over the line.

The final score was 29-28. Wanderers will take on Maitland this Saturday with the winner meeting Merewether in the grand final.
