Young northern rivers cricketers have received some top coaching advice, from former Australian batsman Mark Waugh.
Today, youngsters, aged six to 12, lined up to improve their skills and the meet cricket legend.
“There is always a couple of stand out cricketers. I’m sure there will be some good ones here because its a good cricket area.”
It’s just one of several clinics being held throughout regional Australia.
“Its good to get out and see the kids and go to the country areas. Sometimes the country gets forgotten about a little bit.”
