Mariners star defender signs with Sunderland AFC

Less than a week since its stunning Grand Final win, the Central Coast has lost one of its young stars….

With Nectar Triantis joining Sunderland AFC in The Championship, or the second tier of English Football.

It has been a meteoric rise for the 20-year-old, who joined the Mariners last July and made 26 appearances.

His season was so good, he was named on the bench in the PFA Team of the Year, and is currently in France with The Olyroos.

it’s some story – From Gosford to the Stadium of Light in less than 12 months….the 20-year-old signing for an undisclosed fee.
