HEIFER SHOW A JUNIOR SUCCESS

Young cattle experts from across Australia met at Armidale over the weekend to learn more about all things beef.

Over 200 people gathered for the 25th National Youth Heifer Show to compete, and get tips from the best in the business.

“It’s a wonderful three days in a really good environment where all the kids are really keen participants who enjoy showing cattle and learning new aspects,” said judge Matt Spry.

All up, it was an eye-opening couple of days for the next generation of graziers.

“It’s a new experience so it’s really exciting,” said 10 year-old participant Chloe Bisley.
