Cessnock Police stop responding to ‘non-critical’ incidents

Police in Cessnock have followed the lead of colleagues at several stations in Sydney – announcing they’ll stop doing certain duties, due to chronic staff shortages.

The Minns Government says more recruits are on the way statewide… but the unrest in the ranks is growing.
