The grieving Newcastle parents of a 20-month-old child, who lost her battle with leukaemia last month, have been left shaken after a heartless robbery.
Last Thursday, Carly and Tresne Middleton were farewelling their child, Poppy Grace in a special service.
At 3:30am the next morning, they say their car was broken into and a man allegedly tried to enter their home at Broadmeadow.
The mothers took to social media to say, ‘After sleeping for months in hospital with plenty of our J1 nurses/family around, we just feel really unsafe.’
They have released CCTV of a man jumping a fence, as they appeal to the public for any information.
A report has been filed with NSW Police.
