Coast Rugby star wins bronze in NZ

The Australian Women’s Rugby Sevens team had a to settle for a rare third place at the World Series in Hamilton.

The Central Coast’s Faith Nathan was heavily involved in a 38-nil win over Great Britain in the Quarters, but after leading the USA in the Semi, the Aussies suffered a shock 10-7 loss.

They immediately bounced back against Ireland to win Bronze, and remain in second place on the leader board behind New Zealand.

The next round will be played in Sydney from Friday until Sunday.
