The National Party has reclaimed the seat of Lyne after David Gillespie comfortably secured over 53 per cent of first preferences, ahead of Labor’s Peter Alley who picked up 22 per cent of the vote.
The Port Macquarie doctor extended his lead on a two-party preferred basis.
