Thanks to recent rain, level one water restrictions in Manilla have been lifted.

Water usage had been limited from the start of this month, after levels in the Namoi River dropped below 10 mega litres.

Now, two weirs upstream are holding over 150 mega litres.

The remaining areas under Tamworth Regional Council remain on the lowest level of restrictions.
