Landmark vote for Newcastle container terminal

There’s been a landmark vote in New South Wales Parliament – paving the way for a container terminal in Newcastle.

A bill freeing the port from the shackles of a controversial deal has passed the lower house… the terminal, billed as a boon for farmers and the Hunter’s transition away from coal.
