Greek Hero wins 2022 Krambach Cup

It might have been the short-priced favourite but Greek Hero had to rally in the final 200 metres to win the Krambach Cup at Taree this afternoon.

Trainer Jason Deamer says the gelding has been in consistent form this racing season, and is making a habit of performing in races named after local towns.

“He won the Sawtell Cup last year and just got beat in the Coffs Harbour Cup this year we’re aiming towards the Taree Cup in about 5 weeks time,” Deamer said.

Racing returns to Taree on Melbourne Cup Day.
