Federal Member for Paterson, Meryl Swanson, has called on the Turnbull Government to do more to address the Williamtown contamination scandal.
Ms Swanson has submitted a notice of motion in parliament, and hopes it will be debated before the end of the year.
It comes after residents launched a class action against the Defence Department over its handling of the issue.
