As a young Bateau Bay skater from the 90s. Who resorted to breaking into schools to skate, to seeing The Entrance skate being built (At its time was ment to be the best skate park in NSW) I can only hope it gets finished according to plan and that our current parks get some much needed repairs…For example the large bowel corner at The Entrance has a blocked drain and a shoddy weld job(on the north west end) and many of the joints of the old pre-fabed park are too wide and very dangerous.. Out of the few million bucks, I hope the council can spend a few thousand to maintain the awesome parks we already have. Most of us have already paid with broken bones. We skate because we love it. Show us some love and make all our parks safe Eaton, before bragging about having an international skatepark.
