They’re best known as leaders on the footy field but former Blues State of Origin players, Matt Cooper and Mark O’Meley, had a different message for students at Saint Clare’s High today.
The duo talking road safety… as part of the New South Wales Rugby League Regional Road Show.
“Try and instill that message into them so they don’t make the wrong decision,” former Dragon Matt Cooper said.
“Explain to them the importance of their chosen and the knock on effect it has in the community,” former Bulldog and Rooster Mark O’Meley said.
The talk wrapped up with a video presentation from former student and Blues Captain, Boyd Cordner.
