WOMAN INJURED IN QUADBIKE CRASH

The Newcastle Westpac rescue helicopter was called to Stockton Bight today where a 50-year old-woman was seriously injured in a quadbike crash.

The accident happened in dunes, north of the Lavis Lane beach entry.

The woman was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital with arm and rib injuries and is reported to be in a stable condition.

  1. This comes as no surprise to me. My dad went on a quad bike ride with Sand Dune adventures and a girl rolled her quad bike in front of him. He had to pick the bike up off the girl, while he was doing that one of the guides finally arrived an said….’ Gee this happens a lot’

    It seems this particular company is not safety conscious at all. I know quad rising can be dangerous, however these blokes seem to have quite a few accidents. I ride my own quad bike on Stockton beach and have seen the ambulance about 6 times this year already at sand dune adventures Lavis car park location.

    I hope this latest victim recovers.
