81-YEAR-OLD IN SERIOUS BUT STABLE CONDITION AFTER BEING HIT BY CAR IN BALLINA

An 81-year-old woman is in a serious but stable condition after the pedestrian was hit by a car on Moon street in Ballina at 10am this morning.

The elderly woman, who suffered serious head and pelvic injuries, was placed into a medically induced coma before she was flown to Gold Coast University Hospital.
