LAST MINUTE CHANGES TO NEW YEAR’S EVE

Last minute changes are a common occurrence with our new normal, and it was no different for the freshly opened Drifters Wharf

Announcing Aussie band The Rubens will replace tonight’s headliner Hermitude, who had to withdraw after becoming a close contact.

However there’ll be no change to its plans to set-off midnight fireworks for the first time on Brisbane Water.

The usual 9pm firework display was cancelled earlier this week, when the Central Coast Mariners pulled the pin due to players testing positive to covid.
