TEENS TRASH GOONELLABAH CHURCH

Vandals have spent their Easter Monday trashing the Latter Day Saints church in Goonellabah.

Police allege three boys, two aged 13 and one 15, broke into the building via a window, shortly after 10 yesterday morning.

Once inside, it’s alleged the trio set off fire extinguishers and threw paint on curtains and walls – causing $10,000 in damage.

All three have since been charged with aggravated break and enter and will face Lismore Children’s Court in May.
