17-YEAR-OLD CHARGED OVER ARSON ATTACK

A second man has been arrested over a robbery and arson attack that caused a quarter of a million dollars worth of damage to a South Lismore business.

It’s alleged the 17-year-old and another man broke into the Habib Street engine workshop on January 21 – stealing a rifle and ammunition, before setting the premises alight.

The man has been charged with destroying property, aggravated break and enter and a number of firearm offences.
