The Salvation Army says the Hunter has again given generously, with nearly $248,000 raised so far from the weekend’s Red Shield doorknock.
The interim tally is up four per cent on last year.
Meanwhile, organisers of the World’s Biggest Car Boot Sale say that event was a success for Hunter Life Education.
