The Head to Head Ocean Classic at Black Head has been postponed until 2015.
It was scheduled to take place next month, but a restructure in the organising committee delayed planning of the event.
Organisers say they’ve already begun preparations for a bigger and better swim in 2015.
The event has run for the past four years and has attracted hundreds of competitiors in the 700-metre and 1.5 kilometre races.
