MORE THAN 60 COVID-19 CASES RECORDED IN THE HNEH DISTRCIT OVERNIGHT

New South Wales Health has recorded another 345 COVID-19 cases across the state overnight.

In the Hunter New England Health District, there were another 61 cases; 17 in Newcastle, 10 at Lake Macquarie, 9 in the MidCoast LGA, 7 in Cessnock, 6 in Maitland, 4 at Port Stephens, 4 in Tamworth, 3 in Singleton and 1 in Dungog.

Of the cases in the local health district, 21 cases are currently in hospital, and 4 are in ICU.

More than 92 per cent of people across the state have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Almost 4-million vaccine doses were administered by NSW Health to 8pm last night.

More than 76 per cent of people aged 12 to 15 have had their first dose, and 43.5 per cent are fully vaccinated.
