COUNCIL DRAFTING DESIGNS FOR WATER TREATMENT PLANT UPGRADE

MidCoast Council is drafting up detailed designs for the Nabiac Water Treatment Plant’s upgrade.

The project will see the plant’s capacity increased by 6 mega-litres per day.

Council says the improvements will reduce the community’s reliance on the Manning River, especially during drought.

The designs are due by April, with the project to be completed by mid 2023.
