WATER STUDY AT CAROONA EDGES CLOSER

A senate committee will visit the Liverpool Plains tomorrow as part of an inquiry into food security and productivity in the region.

It comes as a working party, which includes coal mining companies and Caroona farmers, submit final plans to the state government for a water study.

That study aims to determine what impact mining could have on the region.
