Port Macquarie’s Lauren Kitchen has arrived in Ballarat for the Cycling Australia Road National Championships.
Kitchen will ride in the 29-point-3 kilometre time trial tomorrow, before competing in the gruelling 120 kilometre Elite Women’s race on Sunday.
She last competed in Ballarat in 2011, claiming the Under 23 national Criterium title.
The Nationals kick off a massive year ahead for the 25-year-old, who’s vying for one of only three spots in the Australian women’s Olympic team.
