SES crews on the Central Coast are on standby as the wild weather heads south.
Heavy prolonged rainfall, gale force winds and damaging surf conditions are predicted to batter the coastline tonight.
Police on the Central Coast are also urging motorists to reconsider travel plans and delay their trips where possible, with localised flooding affecting some roads.
