The Knights minor premiership winning Under 20’s have suffered a setback, beaten in their opening semi final 30 points to 22 by the Dragons.
Down 14-6 at the break, the Knights made a bright start to the second half, with Bryce Donovan reducing the margin.
Before Joseph Tapine showed plenty of strength to get Newcastle within two.
But the Dragons refused to relinquish the lead, capping off the win with a try in the final minutes.
