NATIONAL QUARTER HORSE SHOW WRAPPED UP TODAY

After a week and a half of fierce competition, the Australian Quarter Horse Association wrapped up its national show today.

From camp drafting to dressage – the agile and quick breed was put through its paces.

After last year’s cancellation, pro and novice competitors from across the country were excited for their shot at a ribbon.

Organisers are claiming this show as a success, despite many challenges.

“We’re just trying each year just to get it better and better, we’ve all had trouble sourcing cattle because of the drought and then we had covid and all the rest so just trying to get good quality cattle, has been a big challenge.”

“But I think we’ve had really good entries and we’re really happy with how it’s going.”
