Following a breakout summer which included a World Cup win and test debut, Bendemeer fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has decided to take a much-needed break.
The 24 year old was due to join Mumbai for the Indian Premier League, but withdrew after discussions with Cricket Australia.
It’s hoped the six-week rest will have Hazlewood ready for a gruelling winter season, which includes test series against the West Indies and England.
