The east coast from the Clarence Valley to the Illawarra/Shoalhaven are all under threat with the hardest hit regions likely to be the Coffs Port Macqaurie to Newcastle Central Coast areas.
The deepening coastal trough will continue to bombard the MNC with heavy flooding rain periods.
Most of the coast will experience rain totals into the 100s of millimetres in the coming days causing extensive flooding.
Severe weather warnings and flood warnings are now in place for most of the MNC.
