The New South Wales Government has committed millions of dollars to upgrade RSPCA shelters across the state, and the Hunter’s shelter at Rutherford stands to benefit.
More than $1-million will go towards upgrading its veterinary hospital.
Shelters at Coffs Harbour, Tweed Heads and on the Central Coast will also receive a slice of the funding.
