If you’ve ever struggled to get a car park at your local hospital, these new statistics may not surprise you.
Data from the Bureau of Health Information shows 52% of patients struggle to find a space at Tweed Hospital’s emergency department.
It’s a similar story elsewhere in the Northern Rivers – with 38% facing difficulty at Lismore, and 20% at Ballina.
Byron Central was found the easiest to get a park out of all the state’s hospitals, with just 2% of patients struggling.
