A man’s body has been recovered from a car that plunged into a waterway on the Mid North Coast.
At 10.30 last night, skid marks and a broken guard rail on Manning Point Road were reported to police.
In daylight it became clear that a car had plunged into Scott’s Creek at Oxley Island near Taree
Police divers travelled from Sydney to search the car.
At this stage no one has been reported missing to local police.
