Newcastle’s New Year’s eve foreshore fireworks and concert may not be going ahead this year due to the pandemic, but Newcastle Council has announced several events in their place.
There’ll be food markets and entertainment at Lambton Park and Richley Reserve, as well as pool parties at the city’s swimming centres on New Year’s Day.

Council says if all goes well, the events may become a New Year’s tradition.
