A 42-year-old Queensland man has been charged following a high speed joy-ride on the NSW Mid North Coast.
Police initiated a pursuit at about 8.45 on Monday morning, after checks revealed the vehicle had been stolen in Queensland, earlier this month.
The pursuit allegedly reached speeds of up to 210km/h and was terminated a short time later.
The vehicle was later found abandoned at Johns River.
Police then received reports a Jeep Cherokee had been stolen from a property on Stewarts River Road at Johns River.
The car was spotted again at Karuah, after the accused allegedly failed to pay for fuel before fleeing the station.
The man was later arrested at a rest area at Twelve Mile Creek.
He was charged with 15 offences including driving dangerously, break and enter and refusing a breath test as well as three outstanding warrants for stealing and drug related offences.
