ABORIGINAL FLAG RAISED AT FORT SCRATCHLEY

The Aboriginal flag was raised at Fort Scratchley, to acknowledge the sacrifice of indigenous servicemen and women.

The idea came from five-year-old Isla, who visited the fort with her family one weekend, and wondered why the flag was missing.

The RSL says the flag isn’t flown at remembrance services because it’s against protocol.
