TAREE’S NICK LARKIN MAKES MATCH SAVING CENTURY IN SHEFFIELD SHIELD

Taree’s Nick Larkin has made a match saving century for New South Wales in the Sheffield Shield, finishing with 161 after batting for almost two days against Tasmania.

It comes after a terrible first innings where the Blues were bowled out for their third lowest total in competition history, just 64 runs.

Day four takes place tomorrow, with the match likely heading for a draw.

Late on day three, New South Wales led Tasmania by 308 runs with 4 wickets in hand.
