With a new entry system now in place, authorities are urging motorists to plan ahead before crossing the border into Queensland.
Instead of applying for an ‘X’ or ‘G’ pass, travellers will now have to first answer a series of questions, which then prompts the required pass.
There are reports the new system could take up to three days to process applications.
