Tamworth Regional Council has welcomed a suggestion by the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal to end rate pegging.
It’s been suggested that well-managed councils be exempt from rate pegging, providing Tamworth Council with an opportunity to push ahead with projects which are already in the pipeline.
