Property owners across the Moree and Narrabri area are being warned to ensure their sheds, trucks and all machinery are locked.
The warning follows a rise in the number of thefts from farms throughout the Barwon region.
Police say offenders appear to be targetting isolated sheds and machinery, with radio equipment and fuel the most common items stolen.
The community is being asked to keep a look out for any suspicious activity or vehicles, and take note of registration numbers.
