Police have arrested a 46-year-old man wanted on outstanding warrants, after a critical incident on the Central Coast last week.
Detectives established an incident investigation, after a 37-year-old man was shot during a police operation at Hamlyn Terrace last Thursday.
After extensive inquiries, the 46-year-old was arrested at a home on Willow Road, Springfield, at 6.30pm yesterday.
He was taken to Gosford Police Station, charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV), stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic), and two outstanding warrants.
The man was refused bail to appear at Gosford Local Court today.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
