Armidale’s Milly Hill Lamb has come out on top in the search for Australia’s finest primary producer.
Judges visited Milly Hill in June to assess the environmental, social and financial aspects of the lamb producer.
Last night, owners Peter and Sally Strelitz were awarded the Royal Agricultural Society’s President’s Medal.
The Armidale business emerged victorious out of more than 5,000 entries from across the country.
Other finalists included Casella Wines, and renowned cheese maker King Island Dairy.
