A man has been arrested after a car crashed into a power pole at Adamstown Heights.
Emergency services arrived at the scene on the Pacific Highway just before 9pm, to find the driver trapped in the car, which ended up down an embankment.
The man was treated for several injuries at the scene, and a sample has been taken for mandatory testing.
He’s been charged with a number of offences, and was refused bail at Newcastle Bail Court today.
