Two units at Hamilton South have been damaged after a fire broke out at a building on Fowler Street this afternoon.
Fire crews were called to the area just after 1pm, after several Triple Zero calls.
Crews from Lambton Fire Station were first on scene, and found a second story unit well alight, with large volumes of smoke coming from the roof.
More than 50 residents were evacuated as firefighters extinguished the fire, which has now been brought under control.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
