Police are investigating a tragic crash on Thunderbolt’s Way which killed a 70-year-old woman and a 4-year-old girl.
Emergency services rushed to Nowendoc, south of Walcha, at midday yesterday, after a 4-wheel-drive collided with a sedan.
The driver of the sedan died at the scene.
The young girl, who was travelling with her family of six, was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital, but sadly couldn’t be saved.
